Taghazout
The popular surfing village of Taghazout is approximately 3 kms away from the house
and can be seen to the right of Villa Titrit, in the corner of the bay.
It can be reached via the beach which is a lovely walk, or via the main road. In
Taghazout you will find more cafes, tea rooms and shops. The Café de Paix (Peace
café) has been allegedly visited by Jimi Hendrix and others in the early 70’s and
maintains its alternative appeal.
There is much redevelopment in Taghazout at present which will eventually house many modern hotels, bars and restaurants. A golf course and fresh water bird reserve is also planned for the land in between Titrit, and the Imourane rock on the beach in front of the house.
